Godythm Game- Devlog 1


The start of making a sound-based game was to decide what the mechanics would be, and I've decided to opt for the classic rhythm game route. How I began was with an amazing resource by the developer of the game Rhythm Doctor, essentially a guide in what the Conductor class needs to set up the framework of the game. The main important variables are for the song position, the crotchet or seconds per beat, the BPM, and one other I can't remember off the top of my head. It was really interesting to learn about how the structure of these games work!
